Linda Rae Huhn, (nee Davis), 64, of Lorain, died Tuesday, April 7, 2009 at University Hospital of Cleveland following a lengthy illness.
Born March 27, 1945 in Lorain, she lived in Amherst for 15 years before returning to Lorain.
Linda was a 1963 graduate of Marion L. Steel High School in Amherst, and a 1988 graduate of Kent State University, where she received a Bachelors Degree. In 1974 she received her nursing license from St. Joseph Hospital in Lorain.
Linda worked as a nurse for Maxum Home Health Care for the last 15 years. Prior to that, she worked as a nurse at Amherst Hospital for 10 years.
She was a member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lorain, the Elyria Eagles Aerie 431, and she enjoyed camping.
Surviving are her sons, James Lenox and Andy Lenox both of Lorain, and Ted Lenox of St. Petersburg, Florida; 6 grandchildren; sisters, Sharon James of Lorain, and Dr. Cynthia Seng of Amherst.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin in 1997; and parents, Eugene Davis and Betty (nee Cendrosky).
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm followed by funeral services at 9:00 pm in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain. Rev. Jimmy W. Madsen, pastor of First Evangelical Lutheran Church will officiate.
