Linda S. Partin

Linda S. Partin (nee Pitts), 47 of Lorain, passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2010 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family following a lengthy illness.
Born Oct. 1, 1962 in Bay View, Ohio, she lived in Lorain her entire life and graduated from Lorain High School in 1980.
Linda worked as a cook at Mr. Hero in Amherst for 6 years. She enjoyed crafts, puzzle book, making candy and reading. Linda had attended Broadway Assembly in Lorain.
Surviving are her daughters, Jessica (David) Treadway, Nicole Partin and Danielle Partin all of Lorain; a grandson, David Treadway III of Lorain; a brother, John Pitts of Tiffin, OH; and sisters, Norma Buchanan, Lorraine Pitts and Carol Wood all of Lorain, Peggy Anderson of Jackson, OH, and Kimberly Herron of Vermilion.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Callie (nee Riley) Pitts; a brother, Roger Pitts; and sisters, Reva Pitts and Vicky Jenkins.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm in Broadway Assembly, 5495 Broadway Ave., Lorain where funeral services will be Friday at 11:00 am. Rev. Matt Jones, pastor will officiate. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Lorain. The Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain is handling the arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the Dovin Funeral Home to assist with the funeral expenses.
