Loretta Elizabeth White (nee Paul), age 62, of Lorain, died on Saturday, July 14, 2007, at Spring Valley Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada, while vacationing there, after a sudden illness.
She was born on February 21, 1945, in Lorain, Ohio where she has been a resident her entire life.
Loretta was employed at Wal-Mart in Elyria, as a door greeter, for 7 years before retiring just 2 weeks ago.
She enjoyed playing BINGO, and traveling, especially to Disney World. She also enjoyed collecting Disney items and figurines.
She is survived by her companion of 14 years, Robert Little, of Lorain, her ex-husband of 21 years, Dana White, Sr., of West Virginia, 7 sons; Alex (Tina) Lolopulos, of Virginia, Robert (Anthelia) Lolopulos, of West Virginia, Charles (Jamie) White, of Lorain, Dana (Starr) White, Jr., of Lorain, Ronzal White, of Lorain, Wayne White, of West Virginia, and Billy White, of West Virginia, her daughter, Tanya (Terry) Porter, of PA, 12 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, a ½ brother, Billy Byrne, of Washington, and a ½ sister, Edith Parker, of Lorain.
She was preceded in death by 2 daughters; Katherine Marie Lolopulos, in 1972, and Vivian Armelie White, her parents, Louis, in 1964, and Katherine (nee Reese) Paul, her step-father, Richard Byrne, a sister, Faye Vandergrift, in 2005 and 2 nephews; Brian, in 1984, and Billy Vandergrift, in 1989.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm, in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain, where services will be held the following morning at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
