Lottie S. Sislowski

Lottie S. "Bousia" Sislowski, (nee Goldyn) age 86, of North Ridgeville, formerly of Lorain, died on Saturday, February 10, 2007 at Northridge Health Center, North Ridgeville.
She was born on February 15, 1920 in Cleveland, Ohio, and was raised by the Poweska and Betzel family in Sheffield Village. She has lived in Lorain County for most of her life.
She was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church.
Lottie was employed during World War II at National Tube Co. She also worked at Weitz Company, Steel Stamping, and at Western Automatic. In the early 60's she spent a number of years on the cafeteria staff at St. Mary's High School, Lorain. She completed her employment career at Moen Company in Elyria.
She enjoyed helping love and care for her grandchildren. She was an avid baseball and Cleveland Indians fan.
She is survived by her daughter: Sharon Marie Pasti, of Avon and son: Ron Sislowski of Vermilion, grandchildren: Brian, Anita, Cyndi, Eric, Erin, and Michael and great grandchildren: Stefani, Corey, Nicholas, Tyler, Jenna, Gabrielle and Cameron.
She was preceded in death by husband of 32 years: Steve in 1972, son: Richard in 1941 her parents: John Goldyn and Mary (nee Zeimba) and her brothers: Joseph and Anthony.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2007 from 3-7 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain, where funeral services will be held on Thursday at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home followed by a 10:00 a.m. mass at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Rev. David Novak, Administrator, will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
