Louis R. Szabo, age 74, of Westlake, died on Sunday, April 30, 2006 at Fairview Hospital, following a brief illness.
He was born on December 25, 1931 in Lorain and lived in Westlake for most of his life.
He received his bachelor's degree in electric engineering.
He served in the United States Air Force.
He was employed as an electrical engineer for Reliance Electric, Lorain, retiring after 40 years of service.
He is survived by his 3 sons: Louis Szabo, Matthew Szabo, both of Keller, Texas and Victor Szabo of Brecksville and daughter: Natalie Szabo of Brecksville, his grandchildren; Makenna, Ashton, Shelby, and Ethan Szabo, all of Keller, Texas, and his cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Louis and Margaret Szabo.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 3, 2006 from 6-8 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain where services will be held on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be held in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
