Louise A. Bartok (nee Fogo), age 87, of Lorain, passed away on Tuesday, December 16, 2008, at Community Health Partners HSC-West, Lorain, after a lengthy illness.
She was born on December 22, 1920, in Newell, PA, moving to Lorain as a young child, where she has resided for most of her life. Louise attended Lorain High. She was a member of St. Ladislaus Catholic Church. As a young girl, she was a member and was married at the Catholic Church of St. Peter.
Louise devoted her life to being a dedicated wife, loving mother, and a caring daughter and sister to her husband, children, parents and her brothers.
Surviving are her 3 sons; Stephen (Kathy), of North Ridgeville, Michael (Judy), of Hinckley, and Ronald, of Lorain, 2 grandchildren; Laura and Zachary, 2 step-grandchildren; Kris and Anthony, and a brother, Sam (Jenny) Fogo, of FL.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Frank J., in 2005, her parents; Pasquale and Antoinette (nee Fazzini) Fogo, and 3 brothers; Joseph, Michael, and Victor.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 20, from 9:00 am until the time of services at 10:00 am, in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain, Ohio. A Funeral Mass will follow at 10:30 am, at the Catholic Church of St. Peter, 3655 Oberlin Avenue, Lorain. The Rev. Fr. Charles Henkle OFM Conv., will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
