Louise Klimczak (nee Kin), 89 of Lorain, passed away Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at Mercy Regional Medical Center, Lorain following a lengthy illness.
Born November 7, 1924 in Lorain, she lived in Lorain her entire life. Louise graduated from Lorain High School in 1942 then worked for Troxel Manufacturing Company in Elyria, retiring in 1958.
Louise was a member of the former St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Lorain, where she was active in the Rosary Society, and served as president of the Young Ladies Sodality. She had volunteered countless hours over many years at the church. Louise loved watching the Cleveland Indians on TV and Mother Angelica on EWTN.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Stanley "Stacey"; sons, Ed of Amherst, and James of Naples, Florida; and 4 grandchildren, Andrew, Lauren, Albert and Julie.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Mary (nee Morawa) Kin; her step father, Joseph Turton; and a brother Edward Kin.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 10:00 am until the time of mass at 12:00 pm at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 200 St. Joseph Drive, Amherst. Rev. Michael J. Denk, associate pastor will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain. The Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Ave., Lorain is handling the arrangements.
