Lucas Garcia, age 79, of Lorain, died on Friday, January 12, 2007 at Autumn Aegis Retirment Community, after a brief illness.
He was born on December 24, 1927 in Hatillo, Puerto Rico. He had moved to Lorain in 2001.
Mr. Garcia enjoyed listening to baseball, especially the Cleveland, Indians. He had also enjoyed staying current with the news and what was going on in the world.
He is survived by his nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife Anna Maria (nee Rodriguez), and his parents; Geraldo and Nicolasa (nee Rodriguez) Garcia.
The family is holding private services. The Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain, is handling arrangements.
