Luis Serrano

Luis Serrano, age 77, of Lorain, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Saturday, April 22, 2023, at his residence.

Born March 30, 1946 to Tribulcio Serrano and Eulogia Santana in Humacao, Puerto Rico, Luis spent most of his life in Lorain.  He worked for United Property Management and City Center for 30 years.

He was very skilled at carpentry.  For nearly 30 years he was a member of his church band with the Christian Missionary Church where he loved playing his guitar, playing songs, and singing.  He also loved fishing and gardening.

Surviving is his wife of 40 years, Carmen (nee Otero) Serrano; children, Lissette (Levictus) Doughty, Pedro (Sarah) Marin, Elizabeth Cruz, Luis (Heather) Serrano Jr., Hector Curbelo, Elizabeth (Arthur Summers) Curbelo-Robles, Grace Curbelo and Zu-Lee (Adrian) Walker as well as 18 grandchildren and many great grandchildren as well as his siblings, Lorenzo Serrano, Lydia Torres and Doris Maldonado.

He was preceded in death by both of his parents.
