Margaret J. Brove, (nee Tardio), 61 of Amherst, died Sunday, July 30, 2006 at Community Health Partners Hospital and Surgical Center - West, Lorain, following a short illness.
She was born Sept. 22, 1944 in Uniontown, PA, coming to Lorain as a child. From 1970 thru 2000 she lived in Amherst, then living in Lorain until returning to Amherst this year.
She was a 1962 graduate of Clearview High School and a member of Nativity BVM Catholic Church, South Amherst. Margaret was a homemaker and adored her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed reading and traveling.
Surviving is her husband of 41 years, Jerry; a son, Jay of Talorsville, KY; a daughter, Michelle Wasuk of North Ridgeville; 5 grandchildren; her mother, Imogene Tardio of Lorain; a brother, Dr. Jerry Tardio of Berea; a sister, Mary Ann Clark of Lorain.
She was preceded in death by her father, Fred Tardio; a sister, Suzie Miskov in 2004.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 6, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Ave., Lorain, where Funeral services will be Monday at 9:15 a.m. followed by mass at 10:00 at Nativity BVM Catholic Church, 333 South Lake Street, South Amherst. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
