Margaret R. "Margie" Kinser

Margaret Ruth "Margie" Kinser (nee Hicks), age 87, of Lorain, passed away suddenly on Saturday, December 11, 2010, at Metro Health Medical Center, Cleveland.
She was born on March 2, 1923 in Dante, VA, moving to Lorain in 1954. Prior to moving to Lorain, she lived her younger years in Logan, West Virginia.
Margie had worked for many years at JC Penny's on Broadway, and was also employed at Kemco Pump. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ Restored Gospel.
Margie always looked forward to playing cards with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed shopping at garage sales, baking, reading, and crocheting. In her later years, alongside her late companion, she enjoyed camping and traveling.
She is survived by her children; Bob, of St. Petersburg, FL, Pat (George) Schafer, of Lorain, and David (Lorna), of St. Petersburg, FL, her 3 grandchildren; Kimberly Kinser, of Cleveland, Kelli Bachna, of Amherst, and Jeff Kinser, of St. Petersburg, FL, 2 great grandchildren; Heather Kinser, of Cleveland and Hannah Bachna, of Amherst, a brother, Billy Hicks, of Grawn, MI, and a sister, Helen Blankenship, of Logan, WV. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Kenelis C., in 1987, her companion, Dale Lewis, in 2000, parents; Ernest and Hazel (nee Harden) Hicks, and a brother, Charles Hicks.
The family will receive friends on Wed., Dec. 15, from 5-8 pm, in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain. Friends will also be received on Thurs. from 9 am until the time of services at 10 am, at The Church of Jesus Christ Restored Gospel, 2655 Broadway Ave., Lorain. Brothers Mark Naro, Frank Palacios, and Tony Calabrese will be officiating. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Twp.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to, The Church of Jesus Christ Restored Gospel, 2655 Broadway Avenue, Lorain.
