Margaret J. Lowe, (nee Bischoff), age 70, of Amherst, died on Friday, March 11, 2005 at Community Health Partners Hospital and Surgical Center West, following a sudden illness.
She was born on April 19, 1934 in Amherst, she lived in Lorain most of her life.
She was a graduate of Amherst High School.
Margaret was the owner and operator of Lowe's Auto Wrecking, Lorain for 35 years, retiring in 1990.
She was a member of North Lake Missionary Baptist Church, South Amherst.
She was an avid nature lover, she enjoyed watching boats and the outdoors, and was known as the neighborhood grandmother.
She is survived by her sons: Michael of Lorain, William "Billy" of Lorain, step sons: Gary B ischoff, of Lorain, and David "Tony" Bischoff, of Lorain, daughters: Betty Collier, Lorayne Fuller, of and step-daughter: Janice Argenti all of Lorain, 19 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren, and sister Carol Hall of Columbus.
She was preceded in death by her husband Charley Lowe, parents: Elmer and Martha (nee Coverdale) Bischoff, daughter: Sheryl Thompson and 2 sisters: Lila Seely and Gladys "Elaine" Bischoff.
The family will receive friends on Monday, March 14, 2005 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at North Lake Missionary Baptist Church, 323 North Lake Street, South Amherst, 44001, where Rev. Carson Fraley, pastor will officiate.
