Margarita Faria

Margarita Margot Faria (nee Soto), age 81, of Lorain, died on Wednesday, September 22, 2004 at her daughters home in Lorain, while under the care of New Life Hospice.
Born Dec. 19, 1922 in Lares, Puerto Rico, she came to Lorain 54 years ago.
She worked as a housekeeper in the Lorain County Administration building in Elyria for 20 years, retiring in 1994.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Chapel, Lorain, and enjoyed gardening, cooking, and going to church.
Surviving is her sons; Ramon Faria Jr. of Lorain, Edward Faria of Fontana, California, Jesse Faria of Lorain, and Bill Faria of Akron, daughters; Carmen Mendez of Lorain, and Maritza Nunez of Fontana, California, 18 grandchildren and 39 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ramon Faria, in 1990.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 26, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Ave., Lorain, where funeral services will be Monday at 8:45 a.m. in the funeral home, followed by mass at 9:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Chapel, 4301 Pearl Avenue, Lorain. Rev. Fr. Manuel Cordova, will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
