Maria Limbakter, (nee Kucor), 73 of Lorain, died Monday, December 19, 2005 at Autumn Aegis Retirement Community, Lorain, following a lengthy illness.
She was born of Hungarian descent in Northern Yugoslavia on April 29, 1932. She came to Cleveland in 1968, and moved to Lorain in 1977.
She was a former member of Hungarian Reformed Church United Church of Christ, Lorain, and had attended St. Mary Catholic Church, Lorain.
She enjoyed gardening, cooking, music and dancing.
Surviving is her husband, John, a daughter, Irene Curry of Lorain, a son, John Boconadi of Yugoslavia, 3 grandchildren, and 1 great granddaughter, a sister, Marcella Dohar of Ontario, Canada.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Peter Kucor, and Anna (nee Fulip) Kucor.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 7 - 9 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Ave., Lorain, where a funeral service will be conducted at 8:30 p.m. Rev. Peter Toth, pastor of Hungarian Reformed Church United Church of Christ, will officiate. Graveside services will be Thursday at 2:00 p.m. in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
