Maria Padilla

Maria Padilla, age 54, of Sheffield Township, died on Saturday, August 15, 2009 at New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph Lorain, following an 8 year battle with cancer.
She was born on April 20, 1955 in Santurce, Puerto Rico, moving here in 1991.
Maria was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church, Lorain.
Maria enjoyed volunteering at the Food Bank, helping the needy, and enjoyed cleaning the church.
She is survived by her husband of 20 years, Angel N. Padilla, of Sheffield Township, sons, Felix Antonio Rollet and Felix Juan Rollet both of Lorain, mother, Natividad Figueroa, of Puerto Rico, and two brothers, George and Pablo Figueroa, both of Puerto Rico.
Preceded in death by her father, Ramon Figueroa and grandmother, Ramona Ayala.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2009 at 6 pm at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 4501 Clinton Avenue, Lorain. Rev. Laurie Miller, pastor will officiate.
