Marie Epifano

Marie Epifano (nee Hoschar), age 79, passed away peacefully on March 2, 2022 at her residence in Lorain, Ohio following a lengthy illness.

Born April 8, 1942 to Jasper and Gladys Hoschar in West Virginia, Marie moved to the Lorain area in the 1960s.

Marie was a member of St. Peter Parish in Lorain.  She enjoyed putting together puzzles and working as a realtor.  Above all, Marie loved her family, including spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving are her children, Raymond E. Anthony, Sabrina R. Anthony, Jackie Elliott, James Elliott, John Elliott and Rosa Jones; step-children, Ray Epifano and Marie Epifano; siblings, Linda, Pat, Carol as well as 75 grandchildren and 50 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Remo P. Epifano; daughter, Dreama Scott; step-son, Phillip Epifano; both of her parents; and 3 siblings.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 from 12 – 1:30 p.m. at Dovin Funeral and Cremation Specialists, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain.  Funeral services will follow at 1:30 p.m.  Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Lorain
