Marie B. Krueger (nee Berstling), age 51, of Amherst, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 2, 2008, at her home.
She was born on April 7, 1957 in Lorain and has resided in the Lorain/Amherst area her entire life.
She graduated from Admiral King High School in 1975. She attended Bowling Green State University.
Marie worked at various hospitals in the Medical Records Department, with the most recent being St. John Westshore Hospital in Westlake.
Spending time with her family was very important to Marie. In her free time, she enjoyed making crafts, including designing and creating flower arrangements. She also enjoyed going to Flea Markets and gardening.
She is survived by her 2 daughters, Jennifer M. Krueger and Jodie L. Krueger, both of Amherst; her mother, Alice M. Berstling (nee Horak); her two brothers, Robert M. Berstling, of Lorain and Andrew S. Berstling, of Grafton; her sister, Marjorie A. Berstling, of Toledo; and her nephews.
She was preceded in death by two infant sons; Sean and Michael, and her father, Robert S. Berstling in 2002.
The family will receive friends on Friday, December 5, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain. Funeral services will be on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. in the funeral home followed by a funeral mass at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Rev. Fr. Daniel O. Divis, will officiate. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
