Marie C. Wilson

Marie C. Wilson (nee Logan), age 78, of Lorain, died Friday, September 29, 2023, at Autumn Aegis in Lorain following a lengthy illness.

She was a lifelong city resident of Lorain, born December 12, 1944. She was in the first class to graduate from Lorain Admiral King in 1962. She then received an associate degree from Lorain County Community College in Travel and Tourism.

Marie worked as a customer service agent for Continental and United Airlines in Cleveland for 14 years, retiring in 2014.

Marie was a member of St. Peter Parish in Lorain and volunteered at the Lorain Historical Society and Mercy Hospital. Marie’s greatest joy was spending time with her family. She loved her dogs and enjoyed reading and playing cards.

Surviving is her son, Michael Wilson; daughters, Donna Keenan and Deborah (James) Foster; grandchildren, Logan McCrone and Alyssa Wilson; great-grandson, Trent Bason; a brother, James (Miriam) Logan; and sisters, Carol Sheehan and Monical Fletcher.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Stephanie (nee Chmielewski) Logan, and several brothers and sisters.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. in the Dovin Funeral and Cremation Specialists, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain. Rev. Craig Hovanec, pastor of St. Peter Parish will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain
