Marilyn J. Dallas, (nee Nairy), 71 of Lorain, died Monday, December 31, 2007 at her daughters residence while under the care of New Life Hospice.
She was born Jan. 24, 1936, in Elyria and had been a lifelong Lorain resident.
She worked for Center Cleaning, North Ridgeville for 20 years, retiring in 2004.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Amherst.
Marilyn enjoyed playing bingo, visiting casinos and playing slot machines.
Surviving are her sons, Joseph Resseger of Chenoa, Illinois, and Pat Dallas of Elyria; daughters, Rose Resseger of Lorain, and Cynthia Hale of North Olmstead; 9 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren; and a sister, Beverly Stecz of Lorain.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl W. Dallas in 2001; parents, Thomas Nairy and Helen (nee Downing) Nairy; and a sister Eilene Kennelley.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain, where funeral services will be Friday at 9:15 a.m. followed by mass at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 200 St. Joseph Drive, Amherst. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst, Twp.
