Mark David "Marky" Koler, age 32, of Lorain, died on Monday, August 9, 2010, at his home, unexpectedly.
He was born on October 23, 1977 in Lorain, where he has lived his entire life. He is a 1997 graduate of Southview High School. Mark worked as a roofer and a landscaper and also worked at Kerr Beverage, loading the trucks.
He was a member of St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Parish, as well as a life member of the Romanian Society, and the National Dart Association.
Mark enjoyed playing darts, working on cars and gardening. He was a Cleveland sports fan and loved cook-outs.
He is survived by his son, Mark David "Little Man" Koler, Jr., his mother, Christina Maslinski, his grandmother, Mary R. Koler, of Lorain, a brother, Russell Koler, of Lorain, sister, Kathryn A. Harris, of Lorain, and his cousins; Christine, Tony, and Daniel Koler.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Koler, grandfather, Peter Koler, Sr., and his brother, Peter Koler, Jr.
The family will receive friends on Friday, August 13, from 10:00 am until the time of his Funeral Mass at 10:30 am, at St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Parish, 2143 Homewood Drive, Lorain, Ohio 44055. The Rev. Fr. Curtis Kondik, will officiate. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Lorain. The Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain, is handling arrangements.
