Marsha Ralich, (nee Visnich), age 88, died on Saturday, October 11, 2008 at Avon Oaks Nursing Home, following a brief illness.
She was born on May 24, 1920 in the former Yugoslavia.
Marsha was a beautician who operated her own salon in Lorain for many years. She and her late husband, Nicholas, were pioneering Organic Gardening enthusiasts. Marsha also enjoyed extensive herb and flower gardening.
She is survived by her son: George Ralich and wife Linda, daughter: Gail Ann Ralich, sisters: Viola Dumski, Nada Visnich and Dorothy Visnich and her niece: Mara Dumski.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Nicholas G. Ralich, in 1997, and parents, Eli and Agnes (nee Rebich) Visnich.
Friends may call on Monday, October 13, 2008 from 4-7 p.m. at Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain. A private funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14, 2008. Very Rev. Basil Stoyka, pastor of Ss Peter & Paul Orthodox Church, officiating. Burial will be held in Ridge Hill Memorial Park.
