Mary Bazar (nee Woloszanski), age 95, of Elyria, passed away Sunday, March 30, 2025, at Wesleyan Village in Elyria.
Born August 29, 1929, in Lorain, she was a resident of Elyria since 1962.
From 1950 to 1962, Mary worked at Lake Terminal Restaurant. She enjoyed being a homemaker, sewing, and walking. While residing at Wesleyan Village, she found pleasure in helping other residents.
Surviving is her stepson, Andrew “Andy” Bazar of Amherst; grandson, Mike Bazar; granddaughter, Kelly Bazar; and great-granddaughter, Avanna.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Andrew Bazar, in 1994 and sister, Helen Woloszanski, in 2017.
Funeral services were held at Dovin Funeral and Cremation Specialists, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain. Rev. Craig Hovanec, pastor of St. Peter Parish in Lorain, officiated. Burial followed at Elmwood Cemetery, Lorain.
