Mary L. Burton, (nee Ceh), age 81, of Lorain, died on Saturday, December 17, 2005 at Amherst Manor, following a short illness.
She was born July 20, 1924 in Lorain, and has been a life long resident here. She was a 1942 graduate of Lorain High School.
She had worked as a receptionist for the former St. Joseph Hospital, Lorain, then Community Health Partners Hospital and Surgical Center - West, Lorain, for over 20 years, retiring in 2000.
Mary enjoyed reading.
Surviving is her brother, Joseph Ceh of Amherst, many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 15 years, Bruce in 1990, and her parents, Louis Ceh in 1979, and Mary (nee Bezek) Ceh in 1999.
Funeral services for the family will be private. The Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Ave., Lorain, is handling the arrangements.
