Mary "K. R." Krasnobrucky, age 92, of Amherst, formerly of Lorain, died on Sunday, January 21, 2007, at her residence, after a very brief illness.
She was born on May 3, 1914 in Braddock, PA, and had moved to the area in 1926. She was employed at Joseph & Feiss as a seamstress for 47 years, retiring in 1979. She was a member of St. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church, Lorain.
Mary enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and baking.
She is survived by her brother, John Krasnobrucky, of Elyria, her sister, Irene Krase, of San Clemente, CA, and her nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Frank and Julia (nee Krezman) Krasnobrucky, a brother, Michael Krase and a sister, Julia Bresak.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 25, 2007, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services at 12:00 p.m., in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain. The Rev. Fr. Paul Krajnik, Pastor of Ss. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church, will officiate. A private burial will be held at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Lorain.
