Mary Krieg (nee Radosevich), age 97, of Lorain, passed away Monday evening, May 19, at Anchor Lodge Retirement Village, Lorain.
She was born on July 25, 1910 in Woodland, PA, moving to Huntington, Ohio as a young girl.
Mary was employed at Oberlin College in the Dietary Department. During the war, she worked at American Stove, Cleveland Bomber Plant, and retired from General Industries in 1961.
Mrs. Krieg was a member of the former Delaware Avenue United Methodist Church, and currently a member of the Lorain Lighthouse United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Betty J. Moore, of Lorain, sons; John E., of Lorain and Fred, of West Palm Beach, FL, 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandson.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, John, on April 1, 1989, a brother, Eli Radosevich, and her parents; Mike and Laura (nee Vakonich) Radosevich.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 22, from 4-8 pm, in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, at 1:00 pm, at the Delaware Avenue United Methodist Church, 658 East Erie Avenue, Lorain, Ohio 44052. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Twp.
