Mary Orlinski, (nee Woloszanski), age 95, of Lorain, died on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at her residence.
Mary was born on September 4, 1917 in Lorain, where she has lived her entire life.
She was a member of Ss Peter and Paul Orthodox Church. She was employed for 16 years at Higbees Dept. Store in the domestic and housewares dept. as a sales clerk. Mary enjoyed oil painting, flower arranging, ceramics, antiquing and traveling, especially traveling to Disney World for her 80th Birthday, her trip to Portugal, Alaska and the three week retirement trip with her husband.
She is survived by her daughter: Mary Ann Orlinski, of Columbus, brother: Joe (Mary Ellen) Wolzansky of Lewes, DE and sister: Stella Horvatich, of Sheffield Village, nieces, nephews and her new great great nephew.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years; Anthony in 1986, brothers: Alex and Edward, parents: Nikolai and Anna (nee Kulczyski) Woloszanski.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 29, 2013 from 3-6 p.m. with a parastas service at 6:00 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home with Very Rev. Fr. Basil Stoyka, officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. To send online condolences, go to
