Mary Yuhas (nee Patrick) of Elyria, passed away Sunday, December 13, 2015 at O'Niel Health Care, North Ridgeville, following a lengthy illness.
Born in Hawk Run, Pennsylvania, she moved to Elyria in the late 1930's.
Mary worked as an inspector in department 73 at Stanadyne in Elyria, retiring in 1970. She also worked at Hale's & Kern's Dry Cleaners in Elyria.
She was a member of St. George Serbian Orthodox Church, Lorain, the ladies circle of the church and the United Auto Workers Union Local 101.
Surviving is her grandson, Jason Yuhas of North Olmstead; and a niece, Laura Zifcak of Elyria.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Michael Yuhas in 1987; her son, Larry Yuhas in 1979; and brothers, Andrew Patrick and George Patrick.
Graveside services will be Thursday at 1:00 pm in Elmwood Cemetery, Lorain. Rev. Bosko Stojanovic, pastor of St. George Serbian Orthodox Church will officiate. The Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain is handling the arrangements.
