Michael George McDonald, age 70, of Lorain, died on March 29, 2010, at Oak Hills Nursing Home, following a lengthy illness.
He was born on July 24, 1939 in Cleveland. Michael served with the United States Marine Corps, from 1957 until 1959, participating in the Beirut, Lebanon operation.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Leo and Marie (nee Kasper) McDonald.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 14, at 11:00 am, at Elmwood Cemetery, Lorain. Military honors will be provided by the Marines. The Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain, is handling arrangements.
