Michael Tarasavage

Michael (Tara) Tarasavage, age 57, of Elyria, passed away from natural causes on Sunday, January 28, 2021. 

Born August 15, 1963 in Elyria, Michael was a life-long resident of Elyria, graduating in 1981 from Elyria High School/JVS in Tool and Die. 

Michael leaves behind his sister, Judy (Peter) Hritsko of Vermilion; brother, John E. (Cynthia) Tara of Elyria; nephew, Patrick (Dee) Hritsko of Elyria; niece, Emily Tara of Copley; and his aunt, Margaret Kotai of Elyria.

He was preceded in death by his father, John E. Tara Sr. in 1997 and mother, Margaret (nee Kotai) Tara in 2008.

Michael enjoyed playing his guitar and going to flea markets and rummage sales.  He was liked by all and will be dearly missed for his humorous and pleasant personality.  Special thanks to the Elyria Police Department and his friend Vanessa for checking in on Michael.

Due to the pandemic, a memorial service will be planned in the future.  The Dovin Funeral and Cremation Specialists, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain, is handling the arrangements.
