Micki Cochran, 68, of Lorain Ohio, died September 22nd at Oak Hill Hospice Nursing home after battling esophageal cancer.
Micki was a graduate of Lorain High and received her Bachelor’s Degree at Bowling Green State University. She worked for Children Services and later retired from Elyria City Schools. Micki was known as the social butterfly by her family and friends and could be found cheering on the Cleveland browns at one of many social clubs she belonged to, out with friends, or at home with her animals and family. She never had children of her own but was like a mother to her three nieces.
Micki is survived by her siblings: Doug Cochran (Lorain, Ohio), Pam Collins (Lorain, Ohio), John (Missy) Cochran (Elyria, Ohio); nieces: Whitney (Nick) Wadsworth (Spring City, Tennessee), Sara (Seth) Boss (Lorain, Ohio), Joann Collins (Lorain, Ohio); great nephews and niece; Michael Wilson Jr., Avery Wilson, MaKenzie Wilson, Jew’el Jennings, Hayden Wadsworth and Roman Boss; her dogs: Miles and Paris, and many cousins.
Micki was preceded in death by her mother and father, Therill and Joan (née Darmafall) Cochran; younger sister: Thyra Cochran; older brother: Greg Cochran, and longtime friend, Delores Gibson.
