Modesto A. Lopez

Modesto A. Lopez Jr, age 46, of Oberlin, passed away unexpectedly on January 24, 2021 at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Lorain.

Born December 18, 1974 to Modesto and Carmen (nee Rivera) Lopez in Fairview Park, Modesto spent most of his life in the Lorain area. He attended Admiral King High School and later worked as an installer in construction.

He enjoyed four-wheeling, fishing, camping as well as his time going to see the Grand Canyon.

Surviving are his children, Aliyah Lopez, Jonathan Lopez and Fabien Lopez; brother, Jeffrey (Sheree) Lopez as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by both of his parents as well as his sister, Vilma Crespo.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 2 from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral services at 11 a.m. in the Dovin Funeral & Cremation Specialists, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain.  Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
