Nellie M. Collett

Nellie M. Collett (nee Sizemore), age 77, of Lorain, passed away Thursday, April 7, 2011 at her residence following a sudden illness.
She was born June 8, 1933 in Pineville, Ky., moving to Lorain in 1955.
Nellie was a member of West Ridge Enterprise Baptist Church, Amherst. She enjoyed going to Jolly Sixties, gardening, garage selling and flea markets, and raising and caring for animals. She especially liked spending time with her grandchildren, and loved going to church and singing in the church choir.
Surviving is her daughter, Carolyn (Harley) Baldwin of Lorain; her mother, Cleo (nee Woolun) Sizemore of Lorain; grandchildren, Victoria Rowe and Timothy Rowe; and 4 great grandchildren; brothers, Albert of Lorain, Paul of Elyria, and Ray of Pineville, Ky.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Lenice, in 2004; her father James Sizemore; and sisters, Irene Collett and Lou Smith.
Funeral service will be Monday at 2:00 pm in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon. Rev. Bill Fraley, pastor of West Ridge Enterprise Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will follow.
