Nellie D. Dunfee

Nellie D. Dunfee, 92, of Elyria, our beloved mother, passed away to be with the Lord on Saturday, Jan. 31, 2009 at Community Health Partners, Lorain, after a short illness.
She was born October 11, 1916 in Bethesda, Ohio, to the late Clifford and Myrtle (nee Powell) Neptune.
Nellie enjoyed spending time with her family very much.
She leaves behind her daughters, Delores Mellott and Dorothy "Golden" Carpenter; sons, Norman, Nelson (Sheila) and Neil (Darlene); several grandchildren, great grandchildren and cousins.
Preceding her in death was her husband of 59 years, Emmett; and daughter, Velma Skidmore.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6:00 pm until the time of services at 8:00 pm in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain. Burial will be Wednesday at 12:00 pm in Crestview Memorial Cemetery, Barnesville, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, the family request all donations be made to the funeral home to defray funeral expenses.
