Nikolinka Kotevski (nee Crkovski), age 83, of Lorain, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2011, at Good Samaritan Nursing Home.
She was born on Jan. 24, 1927, in Krani, Macedonia, Yugoslavia, coming to the United States in 1974. Prior to moving here, her and her late husband owned a farm in Macedonia, Yugoslavia. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed gardening and cooking.
Nikolinka is survived by her son, Blagojce (Merita) Kotevski, of Lorain, daughters; Vera (Bill) Williams and Elizabeth (Kevin) Raymond, both of Amherst, 7 grandchildren; Michael, Amanda, William, Stefan, Niki, Cory, and Logan, brother, Naum Crkovski, of Sterling Heights, MI, and sisters; Donka and Mica Crkovski, both of Macedonia, Yugoslavia.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Krstin, in 2009, her parents; Marko and Valika (nee Markovski) Crkovski, and a brother, Petre Crkovski.
The family will receive friends on Friday, Jan. 14 from 6-8 pm, in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain. Funeral services will be Saturday, at 10:00 am at St. Clement of Ohrid Macedonian Orthodox Church, 38665 French Creek Road, Avon, OH 44011. The Very Rev. Fr. Vasil Manasiev, Pastor, will officiate. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Lorain.
