Noel Romero

Noel Romero, age 51, of Lorain, died on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at his home unexpectedly.
Noel was born on March 21, 1962 in Lorain, he moved to Middleburgh Heights to be closer to his daughters.
He was a 1980 graduate of Southview High School. Noel was employed as a welder and research lab mechanic for NASA/Sierra Lobo for 20 years, winning many awards for his job.
Noel was a member of Sacred Heart Chapel, along with his entire family.
His daughters and family were the highlight of his life. He also enjoyed working out and working at his job.
He is survived by his two daughters: Gabriella and Maraiyah Romero, both of Berea and brothers: Maico Romero, of Covington, KY, Robert "Bobby" Romero of Strongsville, Gilbert Romero and Richard Romero, both of Lorain.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Santos and Julia (nee Colon) Romero, brother: Tony Cruz and his dog "Muffin".
The family will receive friends on Friday, April 19, 2013 from 4-8 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. Mr. Tony DeGracia, deacon will officiate.
