Norbert Silva, age 46, of Lorain, went home to be with the Lord and Savior, on August 2, 2009.
He was born on June 26, 1963, in Lorain, where he has lived his entire life. Norbert was employed at Invacare for 20 years. He was a member of House of Praise Church, Lorain.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Irene Silva (nee Cabrera), son Jonathan D., AFB Witchita Falls, TX, daughter, Erica D. Silva, Lorain, mother, Maria Silva, Lorain, brothers, Luis F. of Elyria, Juan A. and Edwin both of Lorain, sisters, Diana Silva-Rebman of Avon Lake, Maria Rosalez, Nancy Gonzalez, Maribel Fulks, all of Lorain and Mabel Kline of Wakeman.
He was preceded in death by his father, Felipe Silva, and sisters, Doris Silva and Evelyn Lagares.
Friends may call on Thursday, August 6, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. At House of Praise Church, 4321 Elyria Avenue, Lorain where services will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. The Rev. Gilbert Silva, pastor will officiate. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
