Norma Dietrich

Norma L. Dietrich, (nee Thompson), 84 of Lorain, went to be with the Lord peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Wednesday, April 15, 2009.
Born August 8, 1924 in McKeesport, PA, she graduated high school there. She came to Lorain in the 1940's and has lived here since.
Norma was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church, Lorain, where she volunteered and took part in activities. She enjoyed reading, her grandchildren, babysitting, and spending time letting others know that they were loved.
Surviving is her son, Robert of Lorain; daughters, Karen Delgado of Elyria and Pat Kutyba of Lorain; 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; a brother, Glenn Thompson of McKeesport, PA.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Neal, in 2001; her son, Jim in 2006; and a brother, Edwin.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain, where funeral services will Saturday at 10:00 am. Rev. Bill Kopas, pastor of Camden Baptist Church, in Camden Township, will officiate. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township. Contributions can me made to Fellowship Baptist Church, 5046 Broadway, Lorain, OH 44052.
