Norma L. Stevens, age 70, of Lorain, died on Wednesday, June 13, 2007, at Anchor Lodge Nursing Home, Lorain.
She was born on March 25, 1937 in Cedar, West Virginia. She had also lived in Pikeville, KY, before she had moved to Lorain, where she has lived for the past 42 years.
Norma was a waitress at the Montenero Club (on 8th and Broadway) and at the Lorain VFW hall, for 26 years. She was a member of the Full Gospel Tabernacle, Lorain.
She enjoyed reading her bible, working on puzzles, crocheting, and spending time with her grandchildren and her family.
She is survived by her 3 sons; Frank (Carol) Hatfield, of Lorain, Dan (Sharen) Hatfield, of Ft. Worth, TX, and Timothy E. Hatfield, of Lorain, 9 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and a sister, Helen Bullard, of Lorain.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Opal (nee Robinett) Stevens, and infant brother, and many aunts and uncles.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 14, from 7 - 9 pm, in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain, where services will be held the following day at 1:00 pm. The Rev. Scott Nicoll, Pastor, of Full Gospel Tabernacle, will officiate. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Twp.
