Paris Hunt, age 77, of Lorain, called home by the Lord, September 22, 2009 at his home, following a brief illness.
He was born on January 16, 1932 in Kemper, Kentucky, moving to Lorain in 1952.
Paris was employed as a receiver for USS Kobe for 45 years, retiring in 1997. He was a member of the United Steel Worker Union Local #1104.
Paris was an avid t.v. watcher, and when he was able to, he loved to garden. He loved to laugh and loved his family.
He is survived by his children; Charles Whitlock, Mike Whitlock, Helen Whitlock, Rachel Whitlock, and Madeline Tavia Whitlock, all of Lorain, his 5 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren, all of Lorain. He is also survived by his Nephews; Roger Hunt, Willis Hunt, and Danny Hunt, and a niece, Phyllis Ward, all of Kentucky.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary E. Hunt in 1986, parents, William and Maudie (nee Coleman) Hunt.
The family will receive friends on Friday, September 25, from 5-9 pm, in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain, where services will be held on Saturday at 1:00 pm. The Rev. Robert Daugherty, will officiate. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Twp.
