Patricia A. Bahre Cruz, age 56, of Lorain, passed away Wednesday, April 21, at the Renaissance Health Center, under the care of Hospice of the Western Reserve, after a lengthy illness.
She was born on April 8, 1954, in Cleveland, Ohio. She lived in Olmsted Falls, until moving to Lorain in 1981. She is a 1972 graduate of Olmsted Falls High School.
Patricia was employed at H & R Auto Parts store for 10 years. She also worked at Hills Dept. Store for 5 years and at Kiddie Kollege for 11 years.
She enjoyed sports, working with kids, motorcycles, and race car driving. Patricia also enjoyed working on her "farms" on Facebook.
Patricia is survived by her son, Steven D., of Lorain, her sisters; Barbara Phillips, of Lorain and Debbie (Ron) Nordstrom, of Cleveland, her grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Cruz, Jr., in 2007, parents; Leonard M. and Emily A. (nee Biesecker) Bahre.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 25, from 2:00 pm, until the time of services at 6:00 pm, in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain. Chuck Behrens, Spiritual Advisor for Hospice of the Western Reserve, will officiate. Burial will be private.
