Patricia A. Frye

Patricia A. Frye (nee Maloney), a beloved full-time mom and homemaker, passed away peacefully on October 17, 2024, at her residence in Bixby, Oklahoma at the age of 91.

Born on April 1, 1933, in Elyria, Ohio, she brought warmth, kindness, and joy to all who knew her.

Patricia life was dedicated to her family, her children with love and devotion. She is survived by her sons Harold C. Frye Jr., Robert A. Frye, and Bryon D. Frye; her daughters Donna J. Daniels, Patricia A. Repko, Rosemarie A. Lynch, Julia A. Evans, and Judith (Robert) Majeska. Her legacy continues with 34 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren, as well as many nephews and nieces and many great nephews and nieces who cherished their time with her.

Patricia was not just a dedicated mother; she also had a passion for life that was evident in her interests and hobbies. She was an avid Cleveland Indians fan, a talent in the kitchen with her baking, and enjoyed the thrill of bingo games. Her proudest accomplishment was her unwavering commitment to helping others and her deep spiritual side, which included praying the rosary regularly.

Patricia is preceded in death by her son, Donald E. Frye; parents, Henry and Florence (nee Maloney) Frye; and her siblings, James Maloney and Margaret Blackstone. They, along with all who have been touched by her kindness, will surely welcome her with open arms.

Visitation will be held on October 24, 2024, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Dovin Funeral and Cremation Specialists, 2701 Elyria Ave, Lorain, Ohio. A funeral service will take place the following day, October 25, 2024, at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Rev. Daniel Reed will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Elyria.
