Patricia J. "Patty" Somerville, (nee Nagy), 71, died on Wednesday, October 5, 2011, following a short illness.
She was born on August 23, 1940 in Lorain, living here until moving to Michigan 1 year ago.
Patty was a graduate of Clearview High School. She was a member of St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church, Elyria.
She enjoyed crafts, flowers, baking and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Patty is survived by her son: Jeffrey Smith, of LaGrange, daughters: Gena Comstock of Lowell, IN and Mary Somerville-Truslow, of Hazel Park, MI, brothers: Richard, David and Thomas Nagy, 16 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Michael and Mary (nee Doychak) Nagy, son: Thomas M. Smith in 1996.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 13, 2011 from 7-9 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain, where funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Freddy Ray, will officiate. Burial will take place at Ridge Hill Memorial Park at a later date.
