Patricia Lee Tinklepaugh

Patricia Lee Tinklepaugh, (nee Thomas), age 75, of Lorain, passed away Friday, April 23, 2021 at Kingston of Vermilion following a lengthy illness.

Born September 14, 1945 in Scranton, Pennsylvania, she came to Lorain in 1968.  Patricia was a 1963 graduate of Taylor Moosic High School in Pennsylvania.

She worked for 15 years as a custodian for Clearview Schools, retiring 8 years ago.

Patricia volunteered at the former Community Health Partners Hospital in the Caring Hands Program.  She enjoyed thrift shopping, playing bingo, gardening, crocheting, cooking and going to the movies.

Surviving is her son, Joseph Tinklepaugh Jr. of Lorain; a daughter, Tammy (Gary) DeMarco of Shelbyville, KY; grandchildren, Derek DeMarco of Louisville, KY and Miranda DeMarco of Florence, KY; her former husband, Joseph Tinklepaugh Sr. of Shelbyville, KY; sisters, Sally Healey, Marlene Johnson, Barbara Lindner and Lori Nagy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Evelyn (nee Watson) Thomas; brothers, Robert and Harry; and a sister, Beverly Incociati.

The family will receive friends on Monday from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the Dovin Funeral and Cremation Specialists, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain.  Burial will take place on Tuesday, May 4th at 1:00 pm in Ridgehill Memorial Park, Amherst Twp.
