Paul E. Reihner, age 68, of Lorain, died on Friday, June 26, 2009, at Community Health Partners, Lorain, after a long illness.
He was born on July 9, 1940 in Washington, PA, moving to Lorain in 1950. Paul then moved to Florida for 10 years before finally moving back to Lorain in 1991.
He was employed for many years at Lorain Shipyards as a welder. Prior to this, he worked at the shipyards in Michigan, at American Crucible, and at the Lorain Ford assembly plant.
Paul enjoyed motorcycles and old Cadillacs.
He is survived by his son, Larry, of Lorain, daughters; Patty Perrigan, of Lorain, Susan Scott, of Cape Coral, FL, Bonnie Devaney, of Ft. Myers, FL, Laura Gordon, of Naples, FL, and Heather (Robin) Adkins, of Cape Coral, FL, 11 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter, his brother, David (Elizabeth), of Port Charlotte, FL, and his nieces; Betty Rehoreg, of Lorain, Mary Hensley, of Vermilion, Linda Fitzgerald, of Lorain, Shella Burton, of Wakeman, and Diane Goodwin, of North Ridgeville.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Lawrence E. and Ruby (nee Sutton).
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 30, from 5-7 pm, in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain, where funeral services will be held on Wednesday, at 12:00 pm. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
