Pearl Creter

Pearl Creter (nee Rusyniak), age 88, of Avon Lake, passed away peacefully at home on December 27 after a lengthy illness. Loving and devoted mother to Elaine (Stephen); beloved aunt and great aunt to many; dear step grandmother and step great grandmother. Preceded in death by her parents, thirteen brothers and sisters, and husband, William. Family and friends will be received on Thursday, Dec.30, from 3-6 pm, in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain, where a Panikhida will be held at 5:30 pm. Family and friends will also be received on Friday, Dec. 31 from 10 am until the time of services at 11 am, at Ss. Peter and Paul Orthodox Church, 2238 E. 32nd Street, Lorain. The Very Rev. Fr. Basil Stoyka will officiate. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, North Olmsted. Contributions in her memory may be made to Ss.
