Priscilla Ann Hernandez (age 43) passed away at her home on hospice in Lorain, Ohio on April 4th, 2023 from a long, courageous battle with Cholangiocarcinoma (Bile Duct Cancer). She was born to Freddie Juan Hernandez and Gladys Solis (nee Mercado) on May 27th, 1979.
She received her Cosmetology license in 2012 and her Esthetician license in 2015. Priscilla will be remembered as a wonderful mother. Her children were her world. She was an amazing woman that lived passionately and courageously and was admired by many for her beauty, intelligence, and strong will. She had a love for all animals, loved to watch crime shows, dance and laugh, and she enjoyed spending time with friends and family. Her favorite TV show was Friends. Her sarcasm, wit, loving heart, and humor will always be remembered. She was loved deeply by her family and friends. She was and always will be a hero and a fighter. She is now an angel.
She is survived by her sons, Angello D. Gonzalez and Jaden Woodrick, her daughters, Deja Lyera Burden and Jacey Woodrick, her sister, Sophia Hernandez-Ortiz (Anthony), her brothers, Jose “Pito” Negron (Jessica), Rico Hernandez (Christina), Marco Negron and bonus father Rudy Solis and a large amount of family. She was preceded in death by her loving mother Gladys Solis and loving father Freddie Juan Hernandez, paternal grandparents Rosa and Pablo Hernandez, maternal grandparents Adolfa and Martin Mercado, and maternal aunt Helen Elaine Mercado.
Visitation will be held Saturday, April 8 from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:30 a.m. at Dovin Funeral & Cremation Specialists, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain. Pastor Mark Hebebrand will officiate. Burial will follow at Ridge Hill Memorial Park.
