Raquel Richard

Raquel Richard (nee Ramos) age 82, of Lorain, passed away at her residence following a sudden illness on Monday, January 20, 2019.

Born November 14, 1937 in Fajardo, Puerto Rico, she has been a Lorain resident for several years.

Raquel was a member of La Iglesia de Dios in Lorain where she volunteered many hours there.  She also enjoyed cooking.

Surviving are her children, Nataly Lopez and Sylvia Lopez both of Fajardo, Puerto Rico; 2 grandchildren; and a brother, Jose L. Ramos of Lorain.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Juan Richard Cotto; and a brother, Benjamín Ramos.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4:00 to 9:00 pm at La Iglesia de Dios, 1607 E. 31st Street, Lorain, where funeral services will be Friday 10:00 am.  Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Lorain.  To make a donation toward the funeral expenses, please click on the above "Donation" tab.
