Richard B. Sova, age 61, of Lorain, died on Sunday, August 5, 2012 at New Life Hospice Residential Center, following a brief illness.
He was born in Marshall, MO on November 30, 1950, living in Lorain most of his life.
Richard was employed as a bartender at Urbans, South Lorain, for many years. He worked also in the maintenance dept. at Lakeshore Colonial Apartments.
Richard was a active Indians and Browns fan.
He is survived by his daughter: Barbie (Mike) Smith, of Elyria, brother: Mike Sova, of Lorain, grandsons: Michael, Brandon and Zachary Smith, nieces: Amanda, Brittany and Albany Sova.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Richard and Marjorie (nee Friedell) Sova, and granddaughter: Hope Star Smith.
The family will receive friends on Friday, August 10, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain, where a memorial service will begin at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Robert J. Glepko, pastor of Nativity BVM Catholic Church, officiating
