Robert W. Burns

Robert W. Burns, age 87, of Cleveland, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 3, 2023 at AMES Family Hospice House in Westlake, Ohio following a lengthy illness.

Born December 5, 1935 to James and Irene (nee Stark) Burns in Detroit, Michigan, Robert moved to Ohio in the 1950s.  There he worked for Ford in Lorain for 43 years as an electrician until his retirement.

Robert was dedicated to his work, but especially enjoyed his vacation time where he would travel to Maine.  Above all, Robert loved his family.

Surviving are his children: Kathleen Burns, James Burns, Jeffrey Burns Sr., Joseph Mauricio, Manuel Mauricio, and Deloris Mauricio; 18 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and many great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Jean Marie Burns; second wife, Lucas M. Burns; both of his parents as well as his children, Sipriana G. Mendiola, Fernando Mauricio, Frances Mauricio and Dreama Smith.
