Robert Ploskunak

Robert “Bob” M. Ploskunak, age 83, of Lorain passed away peacefully on March 4, 2023 at Kingston of Vermilion.

Born October 18, 1939 to Michael and Anne Ploskunak in Sheffield Township, Ohio, Robert spent his entire life in Lorain.  He graduated from Lorain High School in 1957 and spent many years working as an assembler for Fruehauf Trailer.  For 17 years he lived at Oak Hills Nursing Home where he was very active in activities at the facility.  The staff and residents there were like his family.

Surviving are his cousins, Ron Ploskunak, Barbara Smith, Charles Ploskunak and Catherine Field.

He was preceded in death by both of his parents as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 15 at 10:00 a.m. at Dovin Funeral & Cremation Specialists, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain.  Rev.
